Adoption Process
We work hard to match the right cat with the right home and take steps to ensure you're prepared for welcoming the newest member of your family.
Finding your forever friend
Meet & Greet
Adoptees must be 18 years or older to apply.
Fill out our Adoption Questionnaire and email it to us. We will setup a date and time to view our available cats. You will be able to interact with any that you’re interested in. We will discuss your needs and work to ensure you are paired with the right cat for your home. We will also ask critical questions to confirm you are able to commit and care for your cat for its lifetime.
Once you select your cat, we will set another date and time that you may take them home. This will be after a required seven day waiting period. Keep in mind, this date is subject to change if your cat sustains an injury or illness. In this event, we will notify you immediately and seek veterinary attention. You will be consistently updated and we will work with you to arrange a new date based on veterinary recommendations.
We request a donation of $100 per cat/kitten. This amount goes entirely towards their previous spay/neutering, food, and litter needs. If you select a kitten that is too young to leave, you are welcome to place a non-refundable 20% retainer to secure a hold.
Home
Coming
Along with your new best friend and family member, you will receive an Adoption Contract to review and sign, and an information packet. This will contain your cat’s veterinary records along with helpful information about caring for your cat along with a timetable for understanding their transition into your home.
